Welcome

The Warsaw Stock Exchange has the pleasure of inviting for the
Central & Eastern European Market Forum 2008
to be held now for the second time in Warsaw
on 31 January – 1 February 2008
at the premises of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Centre at ul. Książęca 4.

The idea behind the CEE Market Forum is to create a platform for exchanging information and experience between investors, investment companies, and public companies in Central and Eastern Europe. The CEE Market Forum is an open formula initiative addressed to investors, Polish and international companies listed on the WSE and the NewConnect market, prospective issuers, investment companies, consultants and partners, as well as the media.

The CEE Market Forum initiative corresponds with the Warsaw Stock Exchange’s strategic objectives of creating a CEE regional financial centre in Warsaw and strengthening the position of the WSE and the Capital City of Warsaw in the European market. We have therefore requested the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw - Ms Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz - to be the Honorary Patron of the event. The Forum will feature several debates on issues of crucial importance to the position of the Warsaw Stock Exchange and Warsaw itself.

The First CEE Market Forum 2007, held in January this year, was attended by some 50 listed companies and investment firms as well as nearly 800 individual investors. With the commitment of many institutions (associations, investment companies, public companies, prospective issuers and the media), the Forum also proved a great success among investors. The CEE Market Forum 2007 was by far the largest gathering of stock market investors and issuers in Central and Eastern Europe.
